This whole blog deal is just supposed to be a place for me to just write.
What I don’t really do is write too much… and I don’t really read too much either; so this is an attempt to improve in those areas. One thing I love doing though is listening to music, and what goes along with that is reading lyrics. If there’s one thing I love the most about lyrics, it’s the incredible honesty and conversational tone.
I guess this is just a chance for me to try and be a little more honest; write like I talk, not worry about the consequences. Maybe I’ll get a little serious with my posts, but in the mean time it’ll mostly be about what’s up and what I’ve noticed.
Anyway, more about what I do and not what I don’t do.
I tend to sit back, take it all in and then move from there. I don’t judge quickly, I don’t follow stereotypes unknowingly and I don’t listen to my parents. Anything they’ve taught me in regards to stereotypes has been thrown out the window as soon as possible. At the same time, there really wasn’t too much throw out the window considering the environment I grew up in warranted a sense of openness, all of the time. So I guess that whole process wasn’t too bad; my faith helped in this area, too. Also, if I ever do follow stereotypes, I’m conscience about it, announce it, and proceed with caution.
I thoroughly enjoy listening. If there’s one thing I do the most, it’s listening. This one ties in with the last, but it’s the most important to me.
I’ll finish this later…
